The CLIPSE “LET GOD SORT EM OUT” – White Picture Disc LP is a manifest piece, designed for lovers of US rap, underground culture and objects that have real meaning.

Clipse is an American rap duo from Virginia Beach, Virginia, composed of Pusha T and No Malice. They are considered the pioneers of coke rap, they compose a rap that tells with realism the life in the drug traffic, but always with an extremely careful and imaged writing.
The duo debuted in the 90s but broke through on the national stage with their collaboration with Pharrell Williams and the Neptunes, who produced most of their tracks. With Clipse, Pusha T and No Malice have redefined hardcore rap: cold writing, biblical morality, brutal realism. Let God get ’em out isn’t just a slogan, it’s a line of conduct. No excuses, no unnecessary glorification, just the facts and their consequences. On vinyl, this production takes on even more scope. The analog grain enhances the depth and physicality of the sound.

The White Picture Disc extends the Clipse universe visually. The KAWS signature design imposes a minimal and immediately recognizable aesthetic.

The featurings of LET GOD SORT EM OUT are not there to make pretty. They translate the influence and respect that Clipse benefits from through several generations:

  • Pharrell Williams – historical pillar and familiar voice
  • Ab-Liva – pillar of the group Re-Up Gang, originally from Virginia, intimate circle of Clipse
  • Tyler, The Creator – creative heir, radical vision
  • Kendrick Lamar – artistic exigencies and narrative depth
  • John Legend – soulful touch, mastered contrast

Each collaboration serves the album, without ever diluting the identity.

The LET GOD SORT EM OUT White Picture Disc LP goes further than previous releases. This version includes the two hits So Be It (Final) and P.O.V. that were missing on previous pressings, finally offering the complete album as Clipse and Pharrell had envisioned.

Description

Clipse – LET GOD SORT EM OUT – White Picture Disc LP : Clipse, coke rap and street art

The LET GOD SORT EM OUT White Picture Disc LP clearly addresses the real. To those who know Clipse, their impact on US hardcore rap, and the cold, clinical and biblical aesthetic they imposed long before it was a stance. This vinyl is neither decorative nor nostalgic: it is a piece of culture, at the intersection of coke rap, underground and street art

Clipse: an absolute reference of hardcore rap
Talking about LET GOD SORT EM OUT, is necessarily talking about Clipse. Pusha T and No Malice have built a short but founding discography, where every word weighs, every silence counts. Their rap is dry, minimalist, without unnecessary glorification. A rap of findings, consequences, implicit morality.
The phrase “Let God sort ’em out” perfectly sums up their philosophy: no justification, no excuses, just the facts … and the final judgment. It’s this constant tension between success, guilt and fatality that runs through all of their music.
On vinyl, this universe takes on even more strength. The LP format respects the natural rhythm of their writing: poised, piercing, relentless.

Clipse and Pharrell: an inseparable link
Impossible to talk about Clipse without talking about Pharrell Williams. Their history is communal, local and organic. All come from Virginia, all grew up in the same cultural environment, and all share a vision of rap where minimalism becomes a weapon.
Pharrell isn’t a “guest” producer in the Clipse universe. He is a pillar. With Chad Hugo within the Neptunes, he has shaped this dry, stripped, almost clinical sound, which leaves the necessary space for the lyrics of Pusha T and Malice.

The KAWS signature design: total continuity
Visually, the White Picture Disc LP extends this logic of controlled stripping. The connection with KAWS is not anecdotal: like Pharrell in his sound, KAWS brings a street art and graphic touch to the Clipse universe.

Chosen collaborations, never opportunistic
On Clipse – LET GOD SORT EM OUT, the collaborations are not there to make the number. They extend the universe of Clipse and strengthen the plot. We find artists who share the same rigor, the same dark and realistic vision of rap.
Among the notable presences are:

  • Pharrell Williams, of course, whose voice and production are an integral part of the Clipse DNA, historical pillar of the duo, both producer, sound architect and familiar voice of the Clipse universe
  • Ab-Liva, member of the Re-Up Gang, direct representative of Virginia and the immediate family of Pusha T and Malice
  • Tyler, The Creator, a major figure in alternative rap, whose presence underscores Clipse’s lasting influence on a new generation of independent and radical artists
  • Kendrick Lamar, absolute benchmark of contemporary rap, whose artistic demands and depth of writing echo the moral and narrative rigor of Clipse
  • John Legend, bringing a more soulful and introspective dimension, in masterful contrast with the coldness of the project
