Indeed, it was after the intervention of the police in a punk concert hall where Stephan Eicher worked as a waiter during a Starter concert that he was able to recover the instrumental material abandoned by the group and the use to record this album on a dictaphone for two days. “Stephan Eicher – Spielt Noise Boys” is a unique testimony to the creativity and artistic audacity of Stephan Eicher, capturing an often overlooked period of his career and exploring avant-garde electro punk sounds.
