The album ” François De Roubaix ‎– Cinemix Vol.1 “ is a vinyl that pays homage to the film music composer François De Roubaix , featuring the collaboration of talented artists such as Carl Craig, Gonzales, Luke Vibert, and others.

François de Roubaix has composed music for more than 150 films during his career, in advertising, cinema and television series, working alongside renowned directors such as Jean-Pierre Melville, Jean-Pierre Mocky, and Robert Enrico. His musical compositions were varied and adaptable to different genres of films, from comedy to thriller to adventure film.

The music of François de Roubaix was characterized by his innovative approach and his ability to experiment with different styles and instruments. He often used synthesizers, exotic instruments and atmospheric sounds to create unique ambiances.

He collaborated with emblematic directors, notably on films like “Le Samouraï” (1967) by Jean-Pierre Melville, “Les lèvres rouges” (1971) by Harry Kumel, “Le vieux fusil” and “Les Aventuriers” (1967) by Robert Enrico . His compositions contributed significantly to the impact of these films.
